The Olympus AIR is a new concept, OPEN PLATFORM CAMERA that pairs the sophistication of digital interchangeable lens cameras with the intelligence of a smartphone for high quality photographs. Also, its SDK (software development kit) and 3D exterior model is published online, so hackers and makers can think up and build their own apps and accessories. To appeal to the potential of the product, we collaborated with a sound artist, Yuri Suzuki, and showcased the creative use of the product.
